May 2024 elections
On Thursday 02 May 2024 a combination of local elections will take place in Colchester.
There will be elections for:
Colchester City Council, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex and some Parishes also have elections, that may be contested
There is one Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for the whole of Essex.
Across all 17 city wards in Colchester, one of the three ward councillor seats will be up for election in May 2024 as the city elects by thirds.
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner election ballot paper will be lilac. The city election ballot paper will be white.
